Winter Wonderland is the theme of the 85th Annual United Methodist Women’s Christmas Bazaar to be held on Saturday, December 5 from 9am – 1:30pm.  The women have been busily making jellies & jams, candies, cookies, handcrafted items, collecting items for Attic Treasures and the Silent Auction, preparing to make baked goods and getting ready to celebrate Christmas with you.

Find that special treasure in Attic Treasures located in the Music Room.

Who could resist the Candy Room with all its wonderful treats?  Buy something delicious for yourself or stock up on homemade confections to give away.  Let us do the candy making for you.

The Silent Auction is always  a popular event and there are always unique items available. Of course, a Silent Auction would not silent without the challenge of getting that very special item you have your eye on.

The Christmas Room will offer freshly made Noble fir wreaths, swags and other decorations and gifts.  Just stepping into the Christmas Room will put you in the holiday spirit.

The Bake Shop will offer the very successful Cookie Bar again this year.  You will be able to purchase your cookies individually or a dozen that may be packaged in a beautiful gift box ready for Christmas giving. Breads, pies, cake pops and other delicious morsels will be available for purchase.

The Boutique and Handmade Items Room will have  unique handmade items, linens, fleece blankets and crocheted items available for that special gift for that special someone.

Margaret Freed’s legacy lives on in The Jelly Spoon.  There will be lots of varieties of delicious jams and jellies.  This room is always a favorite.  Plan to shop early or your favorite may be sold out.

Need a break?  Stop by Mattie’s Tea Room.  Take a moment or two and come by and enjoy a delicious piece of pie or cake, a cup of coffee, tea, hot chocolate or cider.  There will be many delicious items and drinks for your pleasure in a festive setting to just sit and visit with friends.

The Hmong ladies will have yummy egg rolls for sale and many lovely Hmong hand-stitched items.  Come early and get your egg rolls as they sell out quickly.

After you have shopped & shopped some more, there is a Bazaar luncheon that will feature a yummy menu, as always, and our traditional  peppermint ice cream for dessert.  Tickets are $10 and may be purchased from Joyce Hambley.  She can be reached at 209.617.8119.  Get your tickets early before they sell out.

And there will be delicious Fruitcakes!!  Wrapped & tied with ribbon ready for holiday giving.  Here is a group of friends on a Monday morning whipping up a batch.
